Alan Solon
As a seasoned land development specialist with extensive brand marketing experience, Alan Solon brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the forefront. Before his involvement with Black Creek, Alan was the Co-founder and President of Ultima Carolina, where he oversaw all aspects of development, acquisition, design, and marketing/sales operations of nine residential, resort communities simultaneously. Four of which were available for sale, one in the final stages of preparation for sale, and the remainder in the planning and entitlement stages. During his tenure, he led the company to achieve an on-time and on-budget development schedule; and exceeding revenue projections, he orchestrated 110M of real estate sales in one year. With Alan’s leadership and expertise, the vision for Black Creek will continue to grow in dynamic new ways – creating vibrant neighborhoods with multigenerational appeal for both young and old alike.
 
Gary Chazen
As one of Chattanooga’s most prominent area business and philanthropic leaders, Gary Chazen is key to the success of Black Creek. A native of Chattanooga, Gary is a Partner in Perimeter Properties as well as a partner in Metal Systems, Inc., a metal fabrication business. Previously, he served as President of Southern Foundry Supply, a metal recycling business. Gary currently serves on numerous business and civic boards including Chattem, Inc., Prebul Auto Group and a director of SunTrust Bank, Chattanooga, NA. Additionally,, he serves Chairman of the board of Trustees for the Hunter Museum of Art and President of the Friends of the Zoo. He is a Trustee for the Alexian Foundation Board and the University of Chattanooga Foundation. Through his many affiliations and strong involvement in the community, Gary continues to play a strong role in positioning Black Creek as an integral part of the City of Chattanooga and shaping its dynamic future.
 
Doug Stein
An expert in land development and infrastructure, Doug Stein is one of the most recognized and successful developers in the metropolitan Chattanooga area. He has led the construction of Riverfront Parkway, 4th Street in downtown, and Black Creek Club. Featured in Chattanooga’s CityScope Magazine in Fall 2004 as a “Construction Icon”, Mr. Stein currently serves as the President and Treasurer of Stein Construction Co, Chattanooga’s oldest general contractor, founded in 1912. He sits on the boards of numerous civic and professional organizations including: the City of Chattanooga Storm Water Board, Tennessee Laborers Health and Welfare Fund, and Chattanooga’s 1st Tennessee Bank. Going forward, and from every perspective, Doug’s thoughtful planning and thorough attention to detail lead the way
as Black Creek continues to define itself as one of Chattanooga’s most exciting and distinctive new communities.
